Kenzley has got to be one of the most beautiful, easy going, and happy new borns I've ever had the pleasure to work with and see in person. She is not only adorable but she's also pink and so plumpy for being only less than 2 weeks old! Of course it helps to have Ken and Barbie as your parents, but Kenzley holds a beauty all her own. These photos are precious because baby K rocked this photo shoot out into the stars!

The Beautiful Boudreauxes

When I think of an "All American Family," I think of the Boudreauxes. They're blonde/brunette, blue eyed, and BEAUTIFUL! They look like they just stepped out of a j.crew catalog. Lauren loved being in the paparazzi lime light, and even though the boys took a little more time to warm up to the camera, they shined in their shots too. We climbed trees, chased some large ducks by the pond, and threw the football around to capture some truly candid shots.

Mighty McDonnells

This overcast day was screaming to be a backdrop for a photoshoot and the McDonnells and I were ready to oblige. I ♥ how this family's increasing height looks like a cell phone signal bar. haha! I also like how the mommy is the starlet of the family because she's the only girl. ;) So special! I was very entertained by little Evan. He didn't hesitate to direct the family where to go and what to do. I may need to hire him for my future shoots... hehe

Third time's the charm! The Neicherils are looking better than ever. This modelesque family is sooOOO photogenic! Check out the handsome boys, wide eyed lil girl, and the gorgeous Indian Barbie Momma. It doesn't really matter what they're doing, the photos always turn out super cute! We had plenty of clouds, people stalking in the background, almost got arrested, and random kids running into the picture, but we managed to get a break here and there and shoot another adorable shoot. Round 3 takes the cake!

"Moves like Jaggie"

What an honor and pleasure it was to shoot for one of my favorite couples in the whole world! They not only look the part, but played the part like pros; these two are a photographer's dream! And of course, this couple is super special because they're family. ;) OK, so first, we headed into a small town with the most charming buildings, trees and shacks, which made THE perfect backdrop. Then, we made a mad dash to various locations, one of which was a cattle ranch. They had the most magnificent driveway lined with trees on both sides! We ended our shoot with a gorgeous orange sunset and a field of tall grass and baby blue balloons! The encore shot was on the green. We managed to sneak a couple of cute putt putt shots right before the sun disappeared behind the evening sky. Most definitely up there as one of my most memorable photoshoots. Howie, how I ♥ thee!

Howie is an adorable doggie model. He was such a good sport posing for the camera and enduring numerous outfit and background changes. Of course that's not to go without some food coaxing from his mama and lots of sit and stay commands. We had some great laughs on a few of these outfits and even lil Coco joined in the fun! This was a lot o' fun but, after this doggie shoot, I needed a nice looooong doggie nap! ;)

It seems that every Elijah i take photos of are the chunkiest hubba chubbas! i ♥ chunky monkeys!!! You can imagine my delight to meet this adorable bundle of joy with rolls till tomorrow. i had to control my urge to snuggle with this little guy while looking through my lens. Baby Rabia

This little one is a precious jewel. She was a long awaited gift to the world and was the sweetest baby to shoot. She modeled for us the entire session, never cried, and gave us big, huge smiles. This was truly a team effort - we had mom on drool patrol, dad on positioning, assistant for lighting, one photographer, and everyone on entertaining patrol. In the end, I found some of these to be my most favorite shots of my career, all thanks to adorable baby Rabia and TEAMWORK! :) ♥ jen

One of my all time favorite movies is "My Best Friend's Wedding" with Julia Robert and Cameron Diaz. Well, the plot here is quite different but my best friend IS getting married and I was so honored to be asked to take photos of her and her new Dutch man! hehe. I am so happy for them!!! :)

Even though we were scrambling with the last bit of daylight to get the poses and shots we wanted, the photoshoot turned out so sweet! This was not only a fantastic shoot but one dear to me because of the lovely subjects. Wishing you two the very best...

Take a dozen kids, add french fries/hotdogs/hamburgers, a ranch, lots of sand, and two horses and you've got a recipe for a lot of ACTION and tons of "Kodak moments." Every kid's first birthday celebration should be this much fun! But the real reason I like birthday parties? the birthday cake of course. It's all about the cake... ok, and perhaps the kiddos. Anne Marie is only thirteen but exudes a beautiful and mature look about her. We were lucky enough to be able to shoot on a gorgeous and massive property that was furnished to the nines. The afternoon was a hot one and the sun was relentless. With a little of mom's help and a lot of sweat, we managed to take some beautiful photos. Of course, there wasn't a moment when we stood outside that we didn't want to jump into that pool!!!

We attempted to shoot later in the day to avoid the heat but if you live in Houston, you know that even when there is no sun in sight in the middle of summer, it's still HOT! So, we found as much shade as we could and went from there. Scarlet did her thing romping around, tongue out, and having a good time with mommy and daddy. There were some ducks that struck her fancy but luckily she just wanted to take a closer look at them. I was hoping to get some action shots - haha! The shoot ended with a sweet shot of Scarlet snuggled between the two people who love her most. :)

Natural Nadia

We decided to have Nadia be all natural for her photo shoot. She went booty naked and because of the super soft blanket we put her in, she slept all the way through the shoot. Good thing babies look ADORABLE sleeping because they're so relaxed and comfy as Nadia clearly was in her photos. She had a fantastic afternoon nap and we had a great time watching her sleep! hehe ;)

Gorgeous Gracie

Gracie is a miracle baby. She was born teeny tiny but has since steadily gained weight to what she is today. She is full of personality and oh so sweet. At first the concern for this shoot was the lack of light but as you can see in the photos, the sun came out! Mommy, daddy, and I had a great time (and a good workout) getting Gracie to smile and pose. Gracie was also a wee bit sleepy but she pulled through her first photo shoot and resulted in some gorgeous pictures.
