The Wolf Pack - Winter 2014

There's something special about taking photos of people you love: this was one of those occasions.  It was a joy to have the opportunity to take photos for my wedding officiant and best friend with her tall handsome Dutchman and her adorable baby boy.  It was the perfect Christmas day weather here in Texas for an outdoor shoot for a beautiful little family! ;)  ❤ jen

Chris + Caroline ATX Fall 2014

There's something special about working with people you love. As cheesy as this sounds, that love translates through the lens and makes photos, well, lovely. Long time friends Chris and Caroline are expecting a little one in about a month and wanted to take photos of their 8 month journey. I could not be happier to be the one to do just that for this sweet couple. Spaz the dachsund was the icing on the cake and had a great time running free and floppy. He, along with mommy, daddy, and the little one in the belly made this photoshoot a very special one.  ❤ jen

Chang Family Fall 2014

Look! There's a new adorable addition to the Chang Family: it's baby Olivia. Her big sister, Lily is all grown up and baby Olivia is already taking on a personality of her own. The perfect weather was begging for a picnic and created a perfect backdrop for lovely intimate family moments. Lily tried eating a whole plate of cookies and managed to have a cookie in her hand or mouth in almost every photo, while Olivia was loving the apples and having a blast licking them. There's so much cuteness in these photos - I squeal looking at them! ❤ jen

The Neicherils Fall 2014

One of my favorite families to shoot is the Neicheril family.  Besides being good and long time friends, this family has it all - good looks, Pinterest worthy outfits, adorable poses, and charismatic personalities!  All these things plus a dash of good weather and a scoop of nice scenery, and you have the recipe for a perfect photo shoot!  These kids are veterans when it comes to hamming it up for the camera - Mama has trained them well. ;)  I LOVE this family (and they pretty stinkin' adorable in pictures too)!!!   ❤ jen

The Gore Family

Have you ever met people for the first time but felt like you were already friends?  The Gore family makes you feel that way.  Their genuine sweetness makes you feel right at home.  Speaking of home, theirs made a beautiful backdrop for some lovely indoor photos.  Darling Ashley even played piano for me and made the photoshoot unique.  I was especially tickled when she tried to hide her face when her parents kissed in the background.  Her energetic and adorable personality really shined through - she's a natural model and the whole family was so wonderful to work with! ❤ jen

 

Welcome, Baby ATX

WOW, as soon as I walked into this natural-light-filled house, I was inspired to really utilize the beautiful surroundings in this newborn shoot.  Their huge windows and beautiful backyard made a perfect backdrop.  Austin was quite an active fellow who really wanted to stay awake and play, but the warmth of the afternoon sun eventually lulled him to sleep.  He must have been having some really sweet dreams because we got sweet smiles from him. We were having so much fun that Fuzzy couldn't help but join in on the fun as well. Thanks guys - y'all are too cute!  ❤ jen
